About Me
Stephanie Bixler
There is absolutely nothing like working up a good sweat. It cleanses the body from the inside out and gives you a euphoric feeling that cannot be replaced by any other activity. I’ve felt this way about exercise for as long as I can remember. It all started with gymnastics and diving as a kid, which was replaced by lots of jogging as I got older. Eventually, I became a group exercise instructor after having two kids. Working out became my profession as well as my passion. I’ve reentered the world of competitive sport in triathlons but only once or twice a year. The challenge forces me to continue to train each and every year as I attempt to beat each year’s time.
I’ve worked with the YMCA as a Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer for 5 years. I am certified in both fields and also hold additional certifications in Pilates and Silver Sneakers which is an exercise program designed for active older adults.
I teach many different classes. Spinning, Pilates, Boot Camp, Treadmill and Strength Training for older adults are currently my main focus.
